It is envisioned that the new campus will cluster together a critical mass of CET providers in a dynamic and vibrant environment where workers upgrade and acquire new skills, employers fulfill their manpower needs and training providers deliver state-of-the art training.

The site’s strategic location at the edge of the Paya Lebar Central Master Plan marks its significance as the GATEWAY to the proposed new commercial and hospitality developments. Likewise, the campus itself is a metaphorical gateway to better career opportunities for both employers and employees.

The key design consideration is to create an open and welcoming environment that is freely accessible to the general public, where activities are physically and visually well-connected, and synergistic interaction between the stakeholders is encouraged. It should promote active participation of the programmes and not be intimidating as an institution of learning.
