Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Ltd’s (Keppel T&T) wholly-owned subsidiary has signed a joint venture agreement with the Jilin City Government to jointly develop and operate the Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone International Logistics Park to serve the Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone.
The project site located in Chaluhe New Town which is town centre of the proposed 1,450sqm China Jilin (Singapore) Modern Agricultural Cooperation Food Zone. This zone is mid-way between ChangChun and Jilin cities approximately about 50km each way. Chaluhe New Town forms part of Yongji County within Jilin City. Located at the northern boundary of the Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone, the Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone International Logistics Park will occupy 117 hectares when fully developed and will be accessible via major expressways. Future plans to link a railway line to the Logistics Park will further enhance its accessibility for distribution.
